Kyra Minturn
KyraMinturn, born August 19, 1965 is an American actress. Her most well-known work is playing the role of Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson (TVN crime drama The Closer). Sedgwick received an Emmy Award in 2010 and she also won a Golden Globe Award for 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson. The seventh season of the show ended on the 13th of August 2012. Sedgwick is also known for her recurring role on Brooklyn Nine-Nine as Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was awarded an Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Madeline in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989), Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992) as well as Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's Cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003).
